A ROASTER’S CONTRIBUTION

Working 2,000 miles above sea level near Aleta Wondo in Sidama, Ethiopia, the Homacho Waeno Co-op’s over 3,000 members expertly cultivate extraordinary coffee on 2,000 hectares of rich volcanic soil. since 1976, the co-op has prioritized sustainable growth and expert production. Subsequent sales of high quality coffee has led to continuing infrastructure development including improved roads, more consistent running water and reliable electricity, and other various types of community improvements. This coffee continues to blow us away by its complexity. It's stunning on pour over, and really holds us on by fruit up front, but completely by the sweetness in the finish

A BAGGER'S THOUGHTS

Homacho Waeno even sounds cool. It falls off the tongue in a fun, uppity way, almost close to the way this coffee cups. We couldn't help ourselves but act like wide-eyed children running after the ice cream truck to buy a orange creamsicle pop. We'd wait outside before the shop opened, with our crumbled up cash in hand, waiting to get a taste of this magic on a Kalita Wave. Homacho Waeno, more like Homacho Waeyes. Try it for yourself.
